I have to commit to something, that will help beginner bakers, to decide. 

My first ever bundt cake was a keto one. 

I have never baked or enjoyed baking until we moved to a Low Carb Lifestyle. 

And because there was nothing found in the shops or restaurants, I was forced to start baking at home. 

And see how hooked I got? 

Now I even have a website. 

This was about 8 years ago.

Just letting you know, that if I can make this you can too. 

And we loved it so much, that I have served it to every single visitor who came to our house. After a few years, I had to stop because I am sure they all though this is the only cake she can make. But nobody ever complained because they all loved it. And bare in mind none of them were low carbers.

What is Bundt Cake?

Bundt Cake is simply a cake similar to a Pound cake but baked in a Bundt baking dish. 

Very popular in all of the European Countries, also known as Gugelhupf (German) or Babovka (Slovak), there is not really an original recipe for a Bundt Cake. Bundt cake is only the name of the shape this Pound cake is made in and can be done in so many variations. 

In Europe, Bundt Cake is mostly served with a coffee or as a sweet breakfast choice. But it is very popular during family gatherings or parties, especially where kids are involved. Because of its softness kids are going crazy over this Keto cake whenever they see one. 

Different shapes of Bundt Mold? Why not.

For the last few ears different shapes of Bundt Cake forms have been on the market and I am sure you have seen it all over social media. 

One great advantage of baking with the Bundt Form is, that its hollow middle part makes sure the cake gets baked evenly from all sides as well as the middle. And therefore it takes much less time for the cake to be ready.

Bundt Cake vs Pound Cake

The only difference between Bundt Cake and Pound Cake is the baking pan, the cake is baked in. Pound Cake baking pan is flat on the bottom and requires mostly much more batter.

On the other site, Bundt Cake Pan, even though it could be the same dimensions, requires much less batter in, since the bottom edges are lifted and the actual thickness of the made Bundt cake is much smaller. 

As already mentioned, both of the names are associated with cake pan only and therefore any type of cake can be baked in.

The first time I have purchased a silicone Pan was for a lovely Bear shape muffins, I have made for my daughter. I am yet, to post this recipe in here as well.

I have baked those in a normal baking pan with the bear shape several times. Not a single one of them I was able to take it out of the pan without destroying the shape. And I have tried so many varieties of oiling, powdering, adding coconut flour on the bottom … I have tried it all.

Until a friend of mine showed me a silicone Pan in the shape of a Bears. 

I immediately purchased it, baked it and on the first time the beautiful Bear Shape muffins came out without a single scratch.

Since then I only buy silicon baking dishes and nothing else.

I have used the Silicone Bundt Cake Pan for this recipe, as you will get it out with one push every single time. 

How to make the easiest Keto bundt Cake?

Kitchen Tools you will need

  • Silicone Bundt Cake Shaped Mold
  • Kitchen Maschine
  • Silicone Spatula

Ingredients needed

  • Eggs
  • Sugar Substitute
  • Almond Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Cocoa

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR KETO MARBLE BUNDT CAKE

First Step: Egg Whites

Separate Egg whites from Egg yolks. Place egg whites into the Kitchen Maschine and beat them until stiff.

Set aside.

Second Step: All Other Ingredients

In a fresh mixing bowl start with all other ingredients.

First, beat the egg yolks together with sugar substitute until fluffy and smooth.

Once that is mixed, slowly start adding almond flour and keep mixing. 

Once all of the almond flour is fully mixed, add baking powder and mix that into the batter once again.

Third Step: Add Egg Whites

Adding Egg whites is best to do with your hands. The kitchen machine might beat them up and you will not achieve the fluffiness you have been craving for. 

Add part of the egg whites into the batter and slowly fold them into the batter. Keep adding more and more of the egg whites in and keep folding. 

Once all of the egg whites are in the batter, gently fold them in until all of the egg whites are incorporated into the batter and you do not have any lumps.

Fourth Step: Pour into the Pan

Take your silicone Bundt Cake Pan and fill it up with ¾ of the batter. Make sure it is spread evenly inside the pan. 

Gently hit the pan against the surface for all the bubbles to disappear. 

If you are not using a silicone pan, I would suggest properly oiling your metal pan so the cake would not stick to the bottom. You can sprinkle it with additional almond or coconut flour.

Fifth Step: Chocolate Marble

Having your ¼ of the batter left, add cocoa in and using your spatula mix the cacao fully in. Make sure no clumps of dry cocoa stays in. 

Once the whole batter is mixed, gently top that on top of the batter inside the Bundt Cake Pan. 

Using a stick, end of the spoon or end of your spatula, mix the chocolate batter into the cake using circular motions – check the video for a better explanation.

  • For maximum volume, have all of the ingredients at room temperature.
  • Adding Egg whites into the batter is best to do with your hands. The kitchen machine might beat them up and you will not achieve the fluffiness you have been craving for. 
  • If you are not using a silicone pan, I would suggest properly oiling your metal pan so the cake would not stick to the bottom. You can sprinkle it with additional almond or coconut flour.
  • Place the cake pan in the center of the oven, and keep the door closed until the minimum baking time has elapsed.
  • After removing from the oven, place the Keto Bundt Cake on a wire rack, and let cool for at least 15 minutes. This allows the cake to become firmer and easier to remove from the pan without breaking apart.
  • If you do not have a Powdered Sugar Substitute, you can grain it in the Magic Bullet or Coffee Grinder in seconds.

If you are using any other material baking pans, I would suggest properly oiling your pans so the cake would not stick to the bottom. You can sprinkle it with additional almond or coconut flour as well.

How to decorate Bundt Cake?

This Keto Marble Bunt cake is so beautiful on its own, that I believe no other toppings or decoration is needed. 
You can just slightly dust it with powdered sugar sweetener and that’s about it.

But you can also choose to add a chocolate or vanilla glaze, our Keto Sprinkles for kids, or just roasted almonds.

Ingredients

  • 5 Eggs
  • 4 Tbsp – 60g Sugar Substitute
  • 7 Tbsp – 60g Almond Flour
  • 2 tsp – 8g Baking Powder
  • 2 Tbsp – 15g Cocoa

Instructions

    1. Heat up the oven to 170C or 340F
    2. Separate Egg whites from Egg yolks.
    3. Place egg whites into the Kitchen Maschine and beat them until stiff. Set aside.
    4. In a fresh mixing bowl start first beating egg yolks together with sugar substitute until fluffy and smooth.
    5. Once that is mixed, slowly start adding almond flour and keep mixing.
    6. Once all of the almond flour is fully mixed, add baking powder and mix that into the batter once again.
    7. Add part of the egg whites into the batter and slowly fold them into the batter. Keep adding more and more of the egg whites in and keep folding.
